To learn the truth about the viral claim, we started searching Google with related keywords. We found a post related to the claim from Gautam Gambhir’s verified X handler. In a post made on November 8, 2023, Gambhir refuted the viral claim by sharing a screenshot of a CNN-News18 post. The inscription is written in English. The Hindi translation is: “What nonsense! When I say something, I say it openly. From all the so-called verified handles – cite sources or apologize!”

Following this tweet from Gambhir, CNN-News18 made a tweet from the official X handle. The caption of the tweet, made on November 8, 2023, is written in English.
