New Delhi (Vishvas News). Through a viral video on social media, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh has allegedly excluded the Laadli Behan scheme from its manifesto. It is said that after the return of the BJP government in the state, the Laadli Behan Yojana will be closed and the beneficiaries will not get any benefit from it.
An investigation by Vishvas News found this claim to be false. Bharatiya Janata Party has not only given space to Laadli Behan Yojana in its manifesto but along with financial assistance, it has also promised to provide housing to the beneficiaries. Along with this, other economic announcements have been made for the favored beneficiaries.

In the viral video, it is alleged that BJP did not mention Ladli Behan Yojana in the manifesto released for Madhya Pradesh, so we checked the election manifesto. This BJP manifesto along with Election Commission website website (archive link) is also present.
Many measures were announced for women under the ‘Women’s Empowerment’ section of the manifesto, with the first announcement being related to the Laadli scheme. The manifesto reads: “Beloved sisters will be given housing along with monthly financial assistance. 1.3 crore dear sisters will get benefits.” Along with this, it was announced to give “Rs 2 lakh to Ladli Lakshmi”, the beneficiaries of which will be all girls from BPL families.

Vishvas News contacted Naidunia State Bureau Chief Dhananjay Pratap Singh regarding this allegation. He confirmed that BJP has not announced the closure of Laadli Behan Scheme in its manifesto.
It is to be noted that polling was held on November 17 for a total of 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh.
The results of assembly elections in five states, including Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, will be out on December 5.
