Vishvas News first used the help of Google Open Search Tool to investigate the viral post. A keyword was created based on the post and then it was searched on Google search. We found a lot of news related to this on news websites and YouTube channels. In a news item uploaded on Live Hindustan’s YouTube channel on 16 May 2023, it was reported that during Haryana CM’s public interaction programme, a woman sarpanch threw her dupatta on the Chief Minister. The incident took place in Bani village of Sirsa.
We also found the news video related to the incident on the ABP Live YouTube channel. It was uploaded six months ago. It was told that during CM Khattar’s programme, the woman sarpanch removed the dupatta from her head and threw it at Khattar’s feet.
It was reported in the news that Naina, the sarpanch of Bani village, while explaining the problems of her area, removed the scarf from her head and threw it at the CM’s feet.
During the search, a video interview of the female sarpanch was found on a YouTube channel named Haryana Tak. In this, the woman sarpanch Naina can be heard narrating the whole story in detail.
Continuing the investigation, Vishvas News contacted Sanmeet Singh, in-charge of Dainik Jagran, Sirsa. Share the viral post with him. Giving information, he said that the viral video incident took place six months ago at Bani village in the district. There, a woman sarpanch had thrown her dupatta at the CM’s feet. There has been no such incident recently.
