
Out of total 2365 candidates for Rajasthan Assembly General Election 2023, 490 withdrew their nomination papers on the last day, now 1875 candidates are left in the election.
Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that after the withdrawal of nominations for 200 assembly constituencies in the Assembly General Election-2023, a total of 1875 candidates are left. At the same time, out of total 2294 candidates for 200 assembly constituencies in the Assembly General Election-2018, there were 2105 male candidates and 189 female candidates.
The process of submitting nomination papers for Rajasthan Assembly General Election-2023 had started from October 30. Till November 6, a total of 2365 candidates had submitted nomination papers for 200 assembly constituencies. The scrutiny of nomination papers was held on 7 November. A total of 396 nomination papers have been rejected. Voting will be held in a single phase across the state on November 25 and counting of votes will take place on December 3.
