He wrote – ‘One thing I don’t understand is that people celebrate Diwali because of Shri Ram ji’s return to Ayodhya after 14 years, but they worship Lakshmi ji. Even in the market, the idol of Lakshmi ji is available in every shop but the idol of Ram ji is available in some shops. The question arises as to why this is so. If Lord Ram becomes happy then everything else comes automatically.
Why is Lakshmi Puja done?
In such a situation, the question arises that why Lakshmi Puja is performed during Diwali. When Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after killing Ravana, his arrival was celebrated as Diwali. But, on this day Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped.
